Taking Care of the Whole Person

In a world that often demands we move faster, perform better, and disconnect from ourselves, it is easy to feel stretched thin, anxious, and deeply burned out. You might find yourself navigating the heavy weight of uncertainty, whether from major life transitions, high-pressure professional demands, or the collective stress of the world around us.

I believe that true growth, change, and healing do not happen by solely focusing on what is going on from the neck up. With over a decade of clinical experience, my approach continues to evolve and is deeply focused on providing care for the person as a whole—honoring the intricate connection between your mind, your body, your emotions, and your unique lived experiences. Together, we will work at a pace that feels entirely safe and supportive for you, tailoring your therapy to exactly what you need and what you are looking to achieve.

Focusing on Top-Down and Bottom-Up Processing

While traditional "top-down" therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) are wonderful tools that I utilize and incorporate into my treatment to help understand our thoughts, long-term resilience requires something deeper.

For this reason, I place a significant importance on emphasizing bottom-up processing—understanding how stress, uncertainty, and trauma live within the nervous system and the physical body. By integrating somatic (body-centered) interventions, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and advanced trauma-informed care, we don’t just talk about change; we practice feeling grounded, safe, and balanced from the inside out.

My Approach & Modalities

Every individual is a complex ecosystem. Because of this, my approach is never a one-size-fits-all; it is intentionally eclectic, all-encompassing, and tailored to meet you exactly where you are. I am dedicated to filtering my care through a culturally responsive, informed, and inclusive lens.

My therapeutic framework draws heavily from:

Somatic Integration Interventions & Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR): Reconnecting with the body’s wisdom and regulating the nervous system.

Advanced Trauma Care: As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I offer specialized, trauma-focused, and attachment-based care.

Holistic & Existential Therapies: Humanistic, relational, and existential interventions to explore meaning, purpose, and navigating systemic or structural uncertainty.

Action & Insight Tools: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) for practical resilience.
